Christmas is naturally a season of giving and in Ghana the question ‘where is my Christmas gift’ is a common norm.
Some group of online media publishers and bloggers, however, have taken it to whole new level, shamefully showcasing their ‘ohia’ (poverty) to their world by publicly begging for what they feel they deserve, in the process disgracing not just themselves but the entire Ghanaian blogging fraternity
The first day I came across the video on Zionfelix.net, which featured 3 prominent Ghanaian bloggers, Emmanuel Appiah Gyan aka Twinsdntbeg (SwagOfAfrica), Pep Junia of Enews and Amegavi Samuel, Editor-in-chief for TMGLive directly, disgracefully and shamefully requesting for Christmas gifts from the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, I was like WTF.
What I found, even more, belittling in this whole begging episode was when the leader of the ‘BEGGARS BLOGGERS ASSOCIATION’, Pep Junia repeatedly and boldly kept mentioning how they have had enough of the ‘soli’ and now deserve an iPhone X or Fresh MacBook.

Some would argue that even the bible says ask and you shall be given. Well, this seems to be exactly at play here, as the rich CEO has granted the wishes of the begging bloggers with a reply on an Instagram post by showcasegh.
As slay queens dey sleep around for iPhone X, some bloggers dey beg. Asem ooo
In another related happening on social media, other sets of bloggers are campaigning a NO PAY NO WORK POLICY in 2018, more of this in an upcoming post.. Keep following your ABSOLUTE GHANA blog… more fire dey come!!!!
